‘Excellent’ not only explains the fundamental basics and mechanics embedded in the renewed EFQM-Excellence Model 2000. It also provides you with value adding tools and information, that help you see how you may easily translate these valuable management concepts into the day-to-day activities of your own organisation.

The book describes the underlying intent of each of the nine criteria in the Model and highlights the elements that are important to turn them into practice. Furthermore the logic and importance of each sub-criterion is explained as well as all areas-to-address. Each sub-criterion has a set of questions, with a ‘first guess’ scoring possibility. You may want to use those to visualise a first appreciation of your own level of excellence. At the end of each chapter, handsome suggestions are provided for a plan of action.
Hundreds of examples illustrate how the topics can be applied and how other organisations have done it in the private and the public sector, the production as well as the service industry.
